1. Data user and scope
INTELLIGENT CLOUD LIMITED (智能雲有限公司) is the data user for personal data collected for 21.hk accounts, orders, support and website operations. This policy follows the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and its six Data Protection Principles. Where we host or process end-user data on a customer’s behalf, roles and instructions are governed separately by the service agreement; this policy does not replace the customer’s own notices.
2. Data, sources and purposes
Depending on the functions used, we collect account and contact information, necessary identity or business verification details, order and payment status, ticket and technical support information you supply, and IP addresses, device, access and security logs generated through use. Purposes are registration, verification, delivery, billing, support, fraud prevention, security, legal duties and service maintenance. This policy does not require every customer to provide identity documents or biometric data; any additional collection must have its necessity and purpose explained.
3. Collection notices and use limits
At collection, explain whether information is obligatory, consequences of not providing it, purposes, classes of recipients, and access and correction channels. Without information needed for delivery or verification we may be unable to provide the relevant service. Use is limited to the collection purpose or directly related purposes. An unrelated new purpose requires prescribed consent or another applicable legal basis; continued use is not a substitute for legally required consent.
4. Recipients and overseas processing
Necessary data may be provided for actual service delivery to payment providers, data centres and network suppliers, contracted support or communications providers, professional advisers, or authorities legally entitled to it. Delivery may involve processing outside Hong Kong. We must use contractual or other practicable measures to control processors’ retention and security and take safeguards required by applicable law. Public availability alone does not authorise unrestricted reuse or disclosure.
5. Retention, accuracy and security
Data must be accurate, relevant and retained no longer than needed for the original purpose, necessary accounting, legal duties or disputes, then deleted or anonymised as appropriate. Account closure need not immediately delete records lawfully retained. Specific retention periods depend on the data purpose and legal obligations. We must take all practicable security and access-control steps against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use; Internet risks do not remove that duty.
6. Cookies and marketing choices
Cookies or similar technology may support login, checkout, security and language preferences; blocking essential cookies may affect those functions. This policy is not agreement to all tracking or marketing. Use of personal data for direct marketing requires the notices and applicable consent under Hong Kong law. You may request that such marketing stop at any time without charge or losing the basic services already purchased.
7. Access, correction and requests
Request data access or correction, or enquire about policies and practices, by the telephone or postal address above or an authenticated support ticket. We may proportionately verify identity and must handle requests under the Ordinance. Access fees may be charged only where legally permitted, explained and not excessive. You may also request deletion, cessation of retention or marketing; we assess the purpose and law. Additional rights under other applicable laws are not limited by this policy. You may complain to Hong Kong’s Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data if dissatisfied.
8. Updates and contact
Material changes in processing will be notified reasonably. Updating this policy does not itself authorise unrelated new uses or retrospectively withdraw existing rights.
